Trade-in

Automated trade-in valuations, wherever you sell.

Give customers a real number in the moment — powered by an independent fair-market-value engine, integrated into the storefront or system you already run.

For OEMs · Resellers · Retailers
What you get

A live number at the point of sale. The rest handled behind it.

Live valuation at the point of sale

The customer enters a device and sees what it's worth while they're still deciding — not after a form, a queue and an email.

Shopify app, plus API integration for any platform

If you run Shopify, it's an app. If you run something else, we build the integration with you against the storefront or system you already have.

Your brand throughout

Your logo, your colours, your program name, your domain. The customer never leaves you and never meets us.

Fulfillment, wipe and disposition behind it

Kits, labels, carrier tracking, certified data destruction and remarketing all run underneath the offer. You quote the number; the machinery is already contracted.

We don't run a consumer storefront and we don't compete with yours. The valuation and the logistics sit inside the storefront or system you already run.
Why the number decides it

A trade-in offer is only as good as the trust behind the number.

There's no relationship to fall back on

An enterprise return has a contract behind it and a settlement report weeks later. A trade-in has neither. The customer is deciding in the moment, against a number they've never seen before, from a brand they may have just met.

So the number has to stand on its own

Either the figure is credible on sight or the offer is declined. Nothing arrives afterwards to rescue it — there's no report to wait for, and by the time one could exist the customer has already gone somewhere else.

That makes independence the enabling condition

An independent valuation delivered live isn't a compliance detail bolted on afterwards. It's the thing that lets the offer convert at all. The party producing the number takes no share of the resale spread.

Every unit shows its math — aggregated market comparables, sample size and a confidence score, on the same screen as the offer.

Send us your catalog shape.

Tell us what you sell and roughly how much of it comes back. We'll come back with the valuation coverage for those device classes and what a live offer would look like in your checkout.

Enterprise and channel programs only — we don't handle consumer product returns.
What the number is built on

Realised sales. Not asking prices.

The engine prices against what devices actually cleared for — the cleared (realised sold price, not asking price) — so the figure your customer sees is anchored to completed transactions rather than to what somebody hoped to get.

Per device every offer computed from that machine's real specifications and stated condition, not a flat rate card
Shown with the offer the sample size behind the value and a confidence score, on the same screen as the number — never a raw listing

Comparables are aggregated across markets, from an engine carrying over a million priced observations. Coverage is deepest where the volume is, which for most trade-in programs is exactly where the questions get asked. Circular Momentum FMV Engine · 2023–2026

The spread

Why there's no single number to publish.

What a traded-in device is worth doesn't have one answer. A three-year-old machine and a five-year-old one of the same model can land in completely different places, and once processing is paid for, plenty of older units clear very little.

That spread is exactly why the offer is computed per device — on the machine's own specifications and stated condition — rather than read off a catalog-wide average that would be wrong in both directions. The number your customer sees follows the configuration in front of them, with the sample size and confidence behind it shown on the same screen.

How it runs

Offer, collect, settle.

01 · Offer

The customer picks their device in your checkout or at your counter and gets a value on the spot, computed from real specifications and stated condition — not a flat rate card.

02 · Collect

A right-sized kit with a prepaid label both ways. Kit orders placed by 3PM ET ship the same day, and carrier scans drive the timeline — no status is typed by a human.

03 · Settle

Received, graded, wiped, certified, then settled — itemized per unit with the fee schedule applied line by line.

Your name on the door. Our machinery behind it.

Behind the offer

The part your customer never has to think about.

Certified data destruction, per unit

R2v3 chain of custody and NIST 800-88 purge, with a Certificate of Data Destruction matched to the unit by serial number. A failed wipe quarantines the device — drives are pulled, destroyed individually, and get their own certificate. Proof, not promises.

Wipe before the device ships is coming

Closing the risk window at the start — wipe and validate in place, so the device travels already proven clean — is coming as a paid option, not something we offer today. Certified destruction on receipt is what runs now, and a per-unit certificate follows the device either way.

Optional emissions reporting

Available as an option, per asset: a resold laptop avoids roughly 224 kg CO₂e of Scope 3 emissions, against about 5.0 kg if the same machine is recycled instead. Figures are per device class, not a fleet average, and the reuse figure applies only where the unit is actually resold.

Avoided Scope 3 emissions per laptop, from the Circular Momentum FMV Engine.
